It is with deep and profound sadness that we share that Victor Levinson, devoted husband, dedicated father, adoring grandfather, dear friend, trusted advisor and lifelong learner, died Saturday, May 28, 2022. He was 81.
Vic will be terribly missed by his wife Jane; their children, Nick, Lynn, and Tom –and their spouses, Julie, Roderick, and Elizabeth; his grandchildren, Nate, Zack, Owen, Emma, Ben, Asher, and Estelle; his brother Warren (Barbara); and many friends.
Born and raised in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn and Forest Hills, Queens, and later a graduate of Cornell University and Harvard Law School, Vic led a full and fulfilling professional life encompassing two significant careers. Vic worked for the first decade of his professional life for the Malina Company, a family-owned textile business. Subsequently, he became one of the early generation of fiduciary investment and financial advisors, ultimately founding his own registered investment advisory firm, Park Piedmont Advisors, with his elder son Nick. In that work, Vic found great satisfaction and fulfillment.
Vic was a long-time little league coach, a lover of hot dogs with mustard and sauerkraut, a devotee of Central Park sunbathing, an engaged conversationalist, a dogged chess competitor, and an informed citizen. On the day he died, he and Jane were celebrating their 58th wedding anniversary. Nothing made him happier than being with his family.
